ACE moves to new Home!
All scholarship residents and staffs at ACE are very excited to share that we have moved to new building! The new property is located just next door to the previous ACE building. The new address is:

The students and staff are very happy at this new building! We have a bigger space for the parking, for the trainings and one extra floor for the laundry.
Attitude Forum in Siem Reap!
ACE was honored to be invited by Globalteer to conduct the Attitude Forum to 20 staffs from five different NGOs: Globalteer, ABC Rice, Anjali House, Women Resource Centre and KKO. This forum aims to teach essential life skills and importantly get the participants to think about their goals in life, steps they need to take to achieve these goals, how to initiate a good relationship between families, friends, colleagues.
Ten-pin Bowling in action thanks to Steve!
Steve Heimberg from America, sponsored the first and wonderful Bowling game at Spark for youths from Empowering Youth in Cambodian (EYC) and ACE scholarship residents. This sport event was in a purpose to build a stronger relationship between ACE and EYC students and staffs. Thanks so much!
Youth Graduation Ceremony!
ACE wishes to congratulate 32 potential leaders on their recent graduation from the Youth Development Leadership Program (YDLP) and the Survivor Youth Challenge! The graduation ceremony was celebrated at ACE Dormitory and Leadership Centre where participated by 60 people from 7 different NGOs and schools. On that spectacular evening, Mr. Saing Sokchea took the great opportunity to share about the Youth & Working Opportunity and Job Seeking Strategy. Mr. Tauch Norin our special guest speaker from United Nation was also invited to make a speech on Youth and Self Development. Thanks so much to ACE scholarship residents, staffs and volunteers for making sure that the ceremony could go smoothly!
Beaudesert Rotary Team Visiting ACE!
Thanks to our friends from Rotary Club of Beaudesert, Australia who visited ACE and our scholarship students and decided to sponsor 3 students from ACE. Thank you!
The Clark made us pasta!
Clarks Family from Australia visited ACE and made us beautiful pastas! They are also the sponsor of our two great students Phally and Vantha to attend university.
Attitude Forum brought New Lifestyle to Soksan Village!
ACE is proud to have conducted the Attitude Forum to 37 Soksan Villagers, former Mose Village where the common issues take place: alcoholism, violence, mistrust, close minded, selfishness, low self-esteem, abusive of languages, poor health and hygiene. We are transforming the healthy lifestyle and peaceful to the whole village.

NFC staff had an internship at ACE!
ACE staff and students were invited for dinner by New Future for Children (NFC) staff, Makara to express his appreciation to ACE team for his internship at ACE and other CKF projects for 4 weeks. He spent most of his time to share and learn from ACE students of how they have become very successful in their life and also making movie for ACE and Saing Sy. As a result, Makara has obtained another job as a computer teacher at Aziza School.
The dinner was celebrated at Chris’s house who is a NFC director adviser.
Hygiene and Sanitation at RBC!
Puthsak, a medical team from CKF conducted training on Medicine Usage to 25 students at Rudi Boa Center. The purpose of the training is to make sure that all the participants understand how to protect themselves from taking the expired medicine and awareness of asking the pharmacist after getting medicine. We found out that the topic was very relevant to the participants since most of them have no idea how to use the medicines accurately after they’ve bought from the pharmacy.
The other 35 students RBC attended First Aid training on “Burn” which was provided by Sovannary Seng a Medical and scholarship student of CKE. The training covers types of burning, how to rescue a victim from an emergency burning and transferring them to a safe place and how to protect own selves while assisting others.
Art Education at RBC!
Students at RBC participating in the Art class with great enthusiasm, decorating the classroom with their pictures indicating a sense of pride and achievement in their creations which reflect on their psychosocial wellbeing.
They have made some souvenirs for our volunteers Eda and Erica for their completion of voluntary at RBC such as; necklace, colorful letters, drawings and we also teach them some Khmer songs!
Sport and Recreation!
This program has built a sense of solidarity, improve discipline through regular contact between coach and students and improve fitness. The program corresponds with the objectives of RBC, where participation in sports and recreation play a vital role in enabling students to express their emotions and energy in a positive manner. Furthermore, the concepts of teamwork and achievement embedded in a soccer match engender a sense of community and belonging.
Enthusiastic volunteers group from United World College!
Our volunteers Chris, Max, Victor, Eda, and Erica are all from United World Collage (UWC). Max and Victor have already completed their 3 months voluntary, while others have just started. They are an active and enthusiastic group! They have been assisting in teaching English, singing, games, sport, exchanging and sharing culture differences, teaching methodology!
We had celebrated a small party to farewell some of them who have completed their voluntary program. Everyone bring their own plates from home, singing, playing games and taking pictures. Thanks so much for your work!
A group of 40 students from United World College visiting RBC!
There were 40 students, who were mostly in year 10, from UWC paid a morning visit to RBC. For most of them it was also their first time to visit Cambodia! They visited classes by classes, sharing their experiences, background, playing games with our students.
A whiteboard donated to RBC!
Chris, one of our volunteers from UWC, donated a very nice white board to RBC.
Also the group from UWC donated to the students at RBC some study materials such as pen, pencils, books and picture books which are all useful for the students in their studies. Thank you for your generosity!
School supplies donated to RBC from a member of the Nou Hach Cambodian Writer Committee!
Pou Chakriya, a member of the Nou Hach Cambodian Writer Committee donated school supplies including 7 bamboo tables, 4 clothing hangers and other equipments to the Centre. Students are very pleased with the donations as they now have adequate tables to study. Thanks so much for your donation!
RBC students’ Excursion to Museum and Royal Palace!
Phou Chakrya, a member of the Nou Hach Cambodian Writer Committee sponsored an excursion for five students and a staff to museum and Royal palace in Phnom Penh! It was an exciting experience for the students since they had never been on an excursion before. They had learned many things about Cambodia especially the history. After visiting we had lunch together.
Parental Meeting Program at RBC!
RBC students’ parents were invited to celebrate the parental meeting event which was held at the Center. It was the first time for the Center to establish this kind of event. The purpose of the event are to motivate the parents to get more involved with their kids’ studying, to let the parents be acquainted with their kids improvement at school, for parents to be familiar with child protection and affect of domestic violent in the family and finally to improve a bond between parents and the Centre.
A Marvelous dinner Party at ACE!
ACE students and staffs hosted a fabulous dinner party on the Christmas day! The purpose of the party was principally to get all youths to share their experiences, dreams, New Year resolution and also to strengthen their friendships. There were more than 20 guests including all team leaders from RBC, staffs and scholarship students from Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF) and staffs from NFC. We were also honored to have our special guest Chris, who is the NFC Director adviser, made a comprehensible short speech of the origin of Christmas at the party!
We would like to express our gratitude for the presentation of our guests and to ACE scholarship residents and staffs who did an amazing job organizing the dinner party! Thank you!

As the projects grow nonstop we continue to need donation for our monthly expenses budget so you, your friends and family donations are greatly needed and highly appreciated.
A gift of $120 will pay six months salary to our hard working staffs at Rudi Boa Center
A gift of $150 will pay for one bunk bed including 4 pillows, 4 mattresses for ACE scholarship residents to sleep.
A gift of $400 will pay for one year’s college tuition fee.
A gift of $600 will pay for one year for an ambitious university student to stay in ACE.
About Us
Attitude Centre for Education (ACE) is a local NGO found in February 2009 by Mr. Saing Sokchea, who is a former dormitory resident and a leadership trainer. He had also has another four years working with other NGOs in the slum in Phnom Penh prior to establishing ACE. Sokchea has always wanted one thing, to make a difference in the lives of many Cambodian people, particularly to empower the younger generation to become well rounded individuals who show compassion and strong leadership skill. After discussions with an Australian NGO the Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF) the decision was made to establish the Attitude Centre for Education (ACE).
Vision Statement
We believe that the best hope to rebuild Cambodia lies in education by empowering the local young generation.
ACE Programs
Leadership Training Center (LTC)
Where we provide free accommodation, university scholarship, and long term leadership training to unprivileged ambitious university students from various remote provinces across Cambodia.
Rudi Boa Center (RBC):
RBC is an integral component of Attitude Centre for Education (ACE) Child Protection and Education Program. Where we provide free English/Khmer Classes, Art, Basic Heath & Hygiene, Sport, Internship program, leadership and life skill trainings, to more than 300 kids and adults at the relocation site (Peace II), 22 km from Phnom Penh.
The Weekend Training Program:
This is our new program where we provide training to people from difference walk of life on the topics such as: Leadership, Communication, Job Seeking, Interactive Teaching Methodology, Marketing Skill, How to set a small business. The program is run by the seven qualified trainers with many years of experiences in their training areas with the assistance from the ACE scholarship residents.
